This piece could represent any US soldier being “dropped into” the war,
into the jungle, as it were, and his limited preparedness for the situation at hand.
He is represented by the Gumby-like figure at the far-mid-left in Chromium Oxide Green.
Also of note are the Mars Black shapes in relief, in particular the “boomerang”
he has thrown, which appears in the upper middle of the canvas, which represents
his Karma as a human being.
